Some people prefer to use shampoos and conditioners. Shampoos like Nizoral, Mane, and Tail are good for hair loss. However, experts still differ on a strong recommendation for one product over another.

Remedies That Are Herbal In Nature:

There are people who believe in nothing but the plant based products for their hair loss solutions, but only an herbal expert can suggest the best herbs for the same. There are various herbal products available in different forms and a few of the important ones are described below:

Several of the herbs are taken in the form of pills or in the form of lotions that you can directly apply on to your scalp, like Saw palmetto, Ginko biloba, Chinese herb “he shou wu”, Stinging nettle, Aloe vera and Pygeum. Remember use these products with special care.

Many people would only suggest Minoxidil (Rogain®) as the best solution that is available over-the-counter. It equally effective for women as it is for men, but the discontinuance of this product leads to reappearance of the balding hair.

Medications Available On Prescription Only:

There are some products that can only be obtained on a prescription (e.g., Propecia) that is beneficial. Apart from these remedies you also have the option of wigs & weaves that are more suited in case of temporary balding hair or in case of hair fall arising due to chemotherapy.

You are the last person who is going to choose the right solution for balding hair, so you must analyze approaches first before going for a particular hair loss treatment. It is not necessary that every person will find the right solution in this way, but one can only hope so.
